The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 412

What made him not say anything was because Zi Han had a tattoo on the lower back of his body with his name on it in simplified Chinese characters.

“Fuck,” he swore his heart dropping straight into a warm spring. How could he ever think Zi Han would stop loving him? The man obviously had his name engraved in his heart. Yi Chen’s dark eyes flickered imperceptibly as he tried to suppress his emotions from bursting out like a hot geyser. He couldn’t take it anymore. He wanted to hold his lover in his arms and tie him down so he would never leave him ever again.

“Do you like it? I will go get it removed soon now that you have seen it,” said Zi Han jokingly but Yi Chen’s reaction was unexpected.

He leaned forward abruptly like he was about to crawl into the floating screen and press him on the bed to stop him. “No don’t... I I I like it... a lot,” he said and Zi Han stifled his laughter. He sat cross-legged on the bed with his hands squeezing his calves wishing he could squeeze those biceps.

“Okay, I won’t remove it... as long as you promise me something,” said Zi Han laying out his cards on the table.

Yi Chen bit his lip nervously before saying, “Whatever you want, babe I will give it to you.”

Zi Han smiled happily and got off the bed. Yi Chen couldn’t see what he was doing but he could hear things being thrown around and Zi Han came back with a box in his hand beaming with smiles.

“You should wear this for me,” said Zi Han while opening the box. Yi Chen wouldn’t agree easily. At least he should see it first before he agrees.

.....

“Let me see it first,” he said and Zi Han pulled out a maid costume cut out on the chest to show his pectoral muscles.

“Will you wear it for me and take some pictures... When I bought it I made sure it was according to your size,” explained Zi Han. He really couldn’t wait to see him in it. It would be even better if Yi Chen put it on while they are playing adult games. That would be very very interesting.

Yi Chen’s eyes narrowed scrutinizing Zi Han before he asked, “Did you buy it when you were drunk?”

Zi Han who had been caught laughed nervously before saying, “Maybe... why does that matter? Are you going to wear it or not?”

“I will wear it and take pictures but... you still owe me,” said Yi Chen looking like a CEO about to negotiate a serious contract.

Zi Han tilted his head to the side and asked, “What do you want?”

Knowing that he had Zi Han right where he wanted him Yi Chen said, “Let’s elope.”

Zi Han, “???”

Seeing Zi Han’s flabbergasted expression, Yi Chen explained further, “I love you and I want to be with you. I want to grow old with you... I know you feel the same way as well so... let’s get married.”

Zi Han’s heart trembled hearing this. He couldn’t help but laugh out of nervousness but when he realised how this could be misunderstood he covered his mouth with his trembling fingers.

“My grandfather will fuckin kill us. No no no I am wrong. He will kill just you. Are you crazy?” he said but Yi Chen’s expression remained stern like he was serious.

Zi Han had to take a minute thus he raised his index finger while saying, “Give me a minute, okay? Don’t... don’t go anywhere.”

After saying this he got off the bed almost tripping. Seeing this Yi Chen panicked a little thus he said, “Careful. Are you okay?”

Zi Han just picked himself up while nodding his head. “Uh-huh... I am fine, just fine,” said Zi Han while walking towards the bathroom.

With a click, he closed the door and Yi Chen suddenly felt that maybe this wasn’t the right time. Feeling a little anxious he stood up and ruffled his hair his breathing stagnated. He felt tremors all over his body out of anxiety.

He really wanted to be with Zi Han. He wanted to marry him and he prepared everything for that. He saved up all his star coins and invested in his grandfather’s (his mother’s side) mines securing their future. He knew that this wasn’t enough but he promised to make sure Zi Han wouldn’t be wronged. Like he said before everything he owned belonged to Zi Han.

Yi Chen wasn’t the only one having a nervous breakdown. Zi Han was splashing water on his face and pacing up and down while talking to himself.

“The fuck... why would he even suggest that?... Shit,” he swore while sitting on the bathroom floor with his knees pressed into his chest.

When he reconnected with Yi Chen he thought maybe they could take it a step at a time but who would have thought the man wanted to elope with him? His mother would get over it but his grandfather, not so much.

He didn’t get married, his daughter eloped and now his grandson was about to repeat the cycle. They hadn’t had a wedding in their family for two generations and this was about to be the third. Zi Han wasn’t sure his grandfather would take that well.

Zi Han had to consider it carefully or at least inform his family. Whether they wanted to be a part of it would yet be determined.

After making up his mind, Zi Han got up and wiped his face with a towel before pumping himself up.

“It’s okay. It’s okay. You like him, right? You love him, right? Right?” he said to the man in the mirror but the panic was really setting in. He leaned down on the bathroom vanity and covered his face with his hands.

AN: I hear wedding bells... hehe
