Chapter 1853 - Meeting the Seventh Immortal

Chapter 1853 - Meeting the Seventh Immortal

When Supreme Rudao helped him understand the Dao-Jolting Saber Art, the process made his heart pound heavily, thus it sounded as if he was requesting it on purpose now that he had suggested it first.

Supreme Rudao looked at him with a grin. She giggled after some time, “How could I, as a wife possibly reject it since my husband has already said so? I shall gladly accept it for now.”

She waved her hand and put the Split-Second Saber into her storage bag.

“Qin Nan, why don’t you give that spear to me?”

Doom swallowed a mouthful of saliva. Even though he normally did not use any weapon, he was quite fond of the independent Dao Art still.

“Sure.”

Qin Nan nodded without any hesitation. He sent the Immortal Extermination Spear into the Heaven-Repairing Cauldron. He did not miss out on the opportunity to claim the two swords too.

He could give them to the Eight Brilliance Demon Emperor and the others.

“Wait! Kid, look at the boulder closely. Is the handprint on it more than three inches deep?”

The scarecrow blurted out in excitement as he realized something.

Qin Nan took a closer look and noticed that the footprint was indeed more than three inches deep, and it looked exactly the same as his left hand.

The scarecrow exclaimed when he saw Mo Fan nodding his head, “As I thought, there is indeed a way out! If you press the handprint, we should be able to leave the tomb!”

The two old men blurted out in excitement, “Brother, hurry up and press it. We are about to go mad if we stay in this place any longer!”

Qin Nan and Supreme Rudao exchanged glances with one another. When he saw the latter nodding, he pressed on the handprint without saying a word.

A soft thud was heard, as if it had toggled some lock in the tomb.

The two old men and the scarecrow sensed the difference carefully before they started dancing and waving their hands in joy while uttering words from their mouths.

Qin Nan and Supreme Rudao shrugged. They left the chamber and went deeper into the hall.

They shuddered after taking less than a hundred steps. They noticed an invisible barrier had stopped them from going any deeper.

The demonic intent that was floating still in the area suddenly rippled. It landed around three zhang away ahead of them and formed a line of sinister words on the ground.

One must stop, only one shall pass.

“About time?”

White flames flickered in Qin Nan’s eyes.

Since he came to the tomb, the two old men and the scarecrow had sensed something strange, and so did he; it felt as if someone had purposely left everything in the tomb as a gift for him.

The only person that could do so was the Immortal.

“Husband, I’ll be waiting for you out here. Be careful.”

Supreme Rudao knew she was the one that was asked to stay. She headed for the exit after finishing the sentence.

Qin Nan took a deep breath to clear his mind. He went forward and soon disappeared into the darkness.

Meanwhile, outside the hall…

“Why is she coming out?”

The two old men and the scarecrow were startled when they saw Supreme Rudao coming out from the palace. The old man that was drinking squinted after trying to detect Qin Nan’s presence.

His art was blocked off by a force, preventing him from seeing what Qin Nan was seeing.

“It’s his opportunity.”

Supreme Rudao said with a calm smile, “As for you guys, you now have the chance to leave, but why are you still here? Here, take this badge, you can deliver the things to me after you are done preparing them.”

The old men and the scarecrow uttered a cough.

The eyes of the old man with thinly spread hair flickered. He said in an awkward tone, “Well, we just trying to adapt ourselves to the freedom. We aren’t in a rush to leave.”

Supreme Rudao wore a disdainful look, but she did not say a word further.

The three guys had obviously stayed because they had noticed something unusual. They were trying to learn Qin Nan’s secret.

However, did they really think they could pry on her husband’s secrets?

Meanwhile, deep inside the hall…

Qin Nan slowly walked forward. He was having trouble describing what he was feeling. The temperature seemed to have dropped significantly. He somehow felt like he was wearing too little clothes today.

He soon reached the end where he found an old wooden door.

He remained still in front of the door for a few moments before he finally reached his hand out to open it.

Everything brightened up all of a sudden. He no longer found himself in pitch-black darkness.

Qin Nan was stunned upon seeing the scenery before him.

He found himself in a garden planted with all kinds of strange herbs. Their fragrance lingered in the air.

At the center was a willow and a stone table under it. The table had a tea set that was made of some immortal jade.

A young man with short blue hair, sharp brows, and pale skin, in a white robe was holding a cup of tea with his eyes closed like he was delicately enjoying it stood there. It was as if he had come out of a drawing.

Qin Nan must admit that the scenery was nothing like what he had imagined.

After all, the person was meant to be a demonic cultivator among the Ten Immortals, but not a single thing he was seeing indicated that.

However, Qin Nan did not notice that the Heaven-Repairing Cauldron inside his body was shrouded by a force. Doom was utterly confused. What was going on out there? Why did he lose contact with Qin Nan all of a sudden?

The young man slowly opened his eyes and looked at Qin Nan. He withheld the surge of emotions within him and said with a gentle smile, “Senior, please have a seat. It’s your first time here, yet you’ve already robbed a third of my wealth.”

Qin Nan collected his thoughts. He suddenly felt a little awkward. He was lost for words. He simply nodded and took his seat.

The young man said, “Senior, I’m ranked seventh among the Ten Immortals, I’m a demonic cultivator, but it’s not the time to tell you my name yet.”

Qin Nan frowned.

It was just like the Divine God of Battle. He still did not know the Divine God of Battle’s name until now.

“Who exactly is my past life?” Qin Nan asked.

It was what he wanted to know the most.

Once he learned the identity of his past life, it would solve every mystery he was surrounded with.

The young man did not answer right away. He wore a thoughtful look as if he could see through space. He said, “I’m certainly impressed by you, but can you give us some private moments please?”

Empress Feiyue’s cold voice soon replied, “Sure.”

It was simple and straightforward.

The young man immediately looked at Qin Nan respectfully, “Senior, about your past life, it’s rather complicated. I won’t be able to explain it to you for the time being.”

“But…”

The young man straightened his face and said sternly, “The Fifth Immortal, the Divine God of Battle harbors evil intentions, you can’t trust him!”
