Chapter 245 Watching Eyes

Raydon gradually started to be aware of the power leaving his body once more.

"I guess I can\'t just completely leave my stat restriction processes up to the formation."  Raydon pondered the sensation of having his strength drained from him and tried to feel the process.

Curiously, in his previous life, Raydon had never encountered a technique that involved deliberately restricting one\'s own power. However, drawing inspiration from techniques he was familiar with, such as the aura technique that concealed one\'s true power, he began to craft a new technique. Incorporating the sensation of his stats decreasing at the moment, Raydon embarked on the path of developing another technique that would allow him to consciously limit his own strength.

He closed his eyes and focused on the sensation of his power being drawn from his body down through his feet into the dark soil.

\'It does not appear to be all that difficult. I only need to accelerate the processes. \' After that, he gradually started to release more and more power while simultaneously forcing the formation to draw it out of his body.

\'\'Hm? \'\' After Raydon had closed his eyes, Galen was taken aback when he noticed that the dark soil on the training ground had started to tremble very slowly.

"What is happening? Has the formation broken? \'\' Mell was aware of this vibration as well, and as she watched it grow stronger with every passing second, she spoke hastily.

"I really have no idea. But I think we should stop it. \'\' Galen hurriedly remarked before rushing to get Raydon out of formation.

\'\'Wha… I-I can\'t move. \'\' But he hadn\'t gone more than a single step before his entire body went rigid and he lost his ability to move.

\'\'Young master? \'\' When Mell saw him in such a precarious situation, she was taken aback, and she wanted to help him. However, at that precise moment, she realized that she, too, could not move.

\'\'This? \'\' She exerted every ounce of her strength, but she was unable to move her body. Shortly thereafter, she became aware of something and let out a startled cry upon realizing what it was. \'\'Miss Diam? Why are you stopping us? \'\'

Mell was aware of the identity of the possessor of the power that had rendered them completely immobile, and despite the fact that she was unable to move even her head, she cast her gaze in all directions in the hope of locating the individual who was responsible for this.

\'\'Head Maid? Oh, is she here? Something odd is happening to the training formation, Miss Diam. You need to do something about it.\'\' Galen, although not to the same degree as Mell, was used to this power, and it did not take him very long to figure out who the person was.

He had no idea what the issue was with the formation, but he reasoned that as long as the Head Maid was around, he had no reason to be concerned about it.

\'\'Eh?\'\'

However, contrary to his expectations, Diam did not appear, and instead, his body moved beyond his control once more, causing his head to turn towards Raydon so that he could look at him.

"Miss Diam? I\'m fully aware that bringing him here at this time was a bad idea, but I\'ve always been a good boy, right? How could you punish me in such a way that I would have to witness the destruction of my cousin and this priceless formation? \'\' Galen\'s voice trembled with a renewed sense of panic, his earlier apprehension resurfacing once more.

Unfortunately, Galen\'s desperate pleas fell on deaf ears as both he and Mell remained trapped in their immobilized states. Powerless to move or intervene, they were forced to watch in dismay.

In the meantime, Mell and Galen were frantically trying to figure out what was going on as, behind one of the white walls of the training area, a group of people was watching them from behind transparent glass.

\'\'What\'s going on, Diam? Why did you call us here?\'\' Arden asked, confused by what he was seeing on the screen in front of him.

\'\'Following in the footsteps of Cael and Thalia, Diam has begun behaving in a mysterious manner as well. If no one takes the time to explain what\'s going on to me, I\'m really going to go nuts," Zephyr said as he stood with the wine bottle in one hand and his other hand on his temples.

A few hours ago, when they were having their meeting in the meeting room, Cael had excused himself to go and get the family head rather than providing an explanation for the strange events that had been taking place, but as of yet, he had not returned, which caused the group to be in a state of restlessness. After that, while they were waiting for him to come back, Diam brought them here and told them that they needed to see something very important.

"Diam, we should have waited for the family head to explain everything about him," Thalia remarked with a sigh. She seemed to understand what Diam was trying to demonstrate.

\'\'What does the family head have to explain? Will you stop ignoring us now? \'\' Elara, Arden\'s wife, asked in the hopes that maybe she could get an answer to her question.

"I couldn\'t agree with you more, Mrs. Thalia. However, at this point, it would be most beneficial for them to witness it with their own eyes. \'\' Without taking her gaze from Raydon\'s silhouette in the training formation, Diam said.

After that, the corners of her mouth turned slightly upward as she continued speaking. \'\'Besides that, I\'m sure you know what he\'s going to do next, and you don\'t want to miss seeing it as well. \'\'

\'\'Hey! \'\' When Elara noticed that she was being ignored once more, she became enraged and stamped her feet.

Thalia kept her eyes glued to the screen in front of her while remaining silent in response to the words that were spoken to her. It was clear that she was looking forward to what was going to happen as well.
